Yellow tulips look like sources of brilliant sunshine. Like, the literal source, not just a reflection. On my kitchen table, it feels like I brought the actual sunshine indoors. It helps me to feel connected to something greater than myself. I guess one might interpret that as a religious experience. For me, it’s strangely grounding and humbling, and it reminds to treasure all the sweetness in my life.
