Those colorful tiles will always remind me of my grandfather. A little background info on grandpa: when he was a young man, he dropped out of dental school and did a complete about-face to become a contractor. It was just the right time in Manhattan, where his crew helped to build things up beginning in the mid to late 1930’s, after the depression. What does that have to do with this painting? Nothing, really, but my grandpa loved color and it really showed when he worked with his little ceramic tiles. This print is just like the original (for sale through this link), but is printed on high quality paper. Matting and framing are not included, sorry! Sizes are approximate.
